Prayer  /  Reflection  /  Journal & Bible Reading Catch Up

Come join Our Journeyus to read through the Bible Chronologically – this six day plan gives you Sunday off so that you can have a devoted prayer time to reflect and journal on what you’ve read throughout the week! And if needed – a day to catch up on any readings you may have missed. Please know that you can begin with the 1st of the year or at any time you please (and then catch up when you’re able to – maybe even next year)! May God Bless you as you walk and build your relationship closer with Him!

WEEK 25

Our journey takes us to the building of Solomon’s Temple! The excitement we can have in all detail given regarding how it was built! Imagine, once again, everyone coming together, to work together, in accomplishing this massive task. Can you imagine the sight?

Solomon’s temple would have been a beautiful sight! It took over seven years to build and was a magnificent building containing gold, silver, bronze, and cedar. This house for God was without equal. The description found in 1 Kings 6-7 and 2 Chronicles 2-4. It was built to honor God, to hold the Ten Commandments!

PSALM 136

I found the following information from a video, I’m pleased and honored to share with you, from Youtube:

Psalm 136 is a liturgy of Praise to God as Creator and Redeemer. A Levitical priest singer likely led the recital, while either worshippers or a Levitical choir responded with the refrain. Cool Bible factoid here – the response “His love endures forever” is repeated 26 times in this Psalm, which is the numerical value of God’s name “Yahweh” – back when Hebrew letters were also used as numbers. A lot of intricacies went into the Psalms… some of which do get lost in translation from Hebrew to English.

Watch/Listen to the video the first time – wonderful, joyful, & great!!
Then, turn off the volume and watch the video again… Powerful!
Thanks to this servant of God for sharing!~!~!
