Our Journey

We began this journey through the Bible beginning 2008… but as time has gone on we’ve decided that we’d like to keep this going every year. We may change the plan from time to time – So here I share each journey with you: asking for your thoughts and opinions too, because I am learning as we venture through the Word also!

For 2009 we are continuing with a Chronological plan that is read six days each week. You may view the information by clicking on the “Journey through 2009″ icon picture to the left. Some changes have been made as we walked through the journey the previous year, I felt some differences needed to be made. Again, this six day plan gives you Sunday off so that you can have a devoted prayer time to reflect and journal on what you’ve read throughout the week. And if needed – a day to catch up on any readings you may have missed.

You can Our Journeysee the 2008 plan by clicking on the Our Journey icon (picture) here, read through past entries, and leave your own comment of thoughts and things learned! Join us (or begin when you can) to read through the Bible Chronologically – this six day plan gives you Sunday off so that you can have a devoted prayer time to reflect and journal on what you’ve read throughout the week! And if needed – a day to catch up on any readings you may have missed.
Please know that you can begin with the 1st of the year or at any time you please (and then catch up when you’re able to – maybe even next year)! May God Bless you as you walk and build your relationship closer with Him!

Please take the time in prayer and consideration as to how you’d like to continue each to read through the Word. What type of plan would you like to use? Continue with the Chronological? Read OT and NT at the same time? Read through from beginning to end? Read through with Psalms and Proverbs spread throughout the year? Or how about if we pick certain books of the Bible to focus on each month – just one book and go through it in much detail?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Share your thoughts here!

I thank you all for your continued support and pray you have a blessed journey with our King, HL
